Alex Cuthbert set to stay with Cardiff Blues
Winger Alex Cuthbert is set to buck the current trend of Welsh international stars heading to France to play their club rugby, by committing his future to the Cardiff Blues.
The 22 year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has attracted the attention of big spending clubs in the Top 14 in France.
Current Wales stars James Hook, Mike Phillips, Luke Charteris and Gethin Jenkins are plying their trade across the Channel, while Blues team mate Jamie Roberts has confirmed he'll be heading out of the Arms Park at the end of the season and could be joining his international team mates abroad.
Although Cuthbert, who resisted a move to France when he signed his first professional contract with the Blues last year, say's his development in Wales is more important to him.
