Appeal as 'mindless' couple carry baby across Dinas Powys train tracks
Two people pictured carrying a baby across train tracks have been condemned as 'mindless' and ‘reprehensible’ by British Transport Police.
CCTV footage from the afternoon of Tuesday 9 October shows the pair crossing the tracks at Eastbrook railway station in Dinas Powys after getting off a train.
A man is seen to carry a baby in a pushchair from one side of the tracks to the other.
Inspector Mike Jones, officer in charge at British Transport Police Cardiff, said he was ‘genuinely shocked’ by the footage.
CCTV footage of the incident has now been released in a bid to trace the two.
Police say they also hope the footage will serve as a 'stark warning' to others who might be tempted to take a short-cut across the tracks.
