Wet & windies return to Wales

A blast of autumnal weather returns to Wales tonight and is likely to see some more significant rain over the next 24 hours. Tonight two rain bands edge slowly across the country and by the end of the night it could turn rather heavy and even thundery in places. A mild and windy night tonight.

Tomorrow brings another dose of wet and windy weather. The disjointed bands of rain pushing eastwards through the day and into the evening before eventually clearing. A mild day in spite of the rain with highs of 15C. Some of the rain could be intense and lead to surface water flooding.

Once that rain clears we're back into a regime of sunny spells and showers that could last through until the end of the weekend.
