Dreary today but rain on way

It's a rather dull and dreary "hump" of a week with lots of cloud and rather murky conditions around. Expect to see some misty drizzly conditions to develop during the afternoon particularly across western side of Wales. It's relatively mild with highs of 14C but will feel increasingly fresh as the wind increases across Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.

Tonight two rain bands edge slowly across the country and by the end of the night it could turn rather heavy and even thundery in places. A mild and windy night tonight.

Tomorrow brings another dose of wet and windy weather. The disjointed bands of rain pushing eastwards through the day and into the evening before eventually clearing. A mild day in spite of the rain with highs of 15C. Some of the rain could be intense and lead to surface water flooding.
