This weekend marks the first anniversary of the Gleision Colliery disaster that claimed the lives of four miners.

David Powell, Garry Jenkins, Charles Breslin and Phillip Hill died when the mine they were working in flooded.

In the third of a series of reports looking back at the events of last September, we hear from Neath MP Peter Hain, who spent the hours during the rescue with the families of the four men.
