Prince William delivers a royal rescue to injured walker

A woman who broke her leg in Anglesey had a royal rescue on Monday from Prince William.

The Canadian holidaymaker was walking on a sea cliff at Point Lynas in Anglesey when she fell down a crevice and injured herself.

Prince William helped to winch the woman aboard RAF Sea King and was flown to a hospital in Bangor.

Prince William graduated as a fully operational RAF search and rescue pilot in September 2010, having started his training in January the previous year at RAF Valley. He only qualified to take command ofa Sea King a few months ago.
