The 2012/13 season gets underway today in the Blue Square Bet Premier League.

This season begins for Wrexham with a home match at the Racecourse against Woking.

Wrexham will be looking to right the wrongs of last season after they narrowly missed out on an automatic promotion spot despite getting a record tally of 98 points, and went on to suffer heartbreak in the play-offs.

Meanwhile, Newport County kick off their season's campaign away to Mansfield.

After a poor start to last year, with the team last-but-one in the table after picking up just a single win out of the first 12 games, the Amber army will be looking to ensure this season gets off to a much better start.

County went on to finish last season in 19th place and so maintained their Conference National status.

They will also be hoping to emulate last year's success in the FA Trophy after reaching the final at Wembly for the first time ever in the club's history.

Their next match will be on Tuesday night when County play their first home game at their new home, Rodney parade, which they will now share with regional rugby side the Newport Gwent Dragons .
