Welsh teenager Jade Jones has made history by becoming Britain's first Olympic taekwondo champion.

The 19-year-old from Flint beat Yuzhuo Hou of China in the women's under-57kgs final.

Wales is now guaranteed to bring home six medals from these Olympic Games, with the colour of Hannah Mills and Fred Evans’ medals yet to be decided.

Jones' win brings Team GB's gold medal tally to 25.
