Welsh beef and lamb exports brought in a record £240 million pounds to the economy last year - that's according to Meat Promotion Wales.

The body, which markets Welsh meat in the UK and overseas, says it was a 'staggering achievement' and beats the 2010 figure by more than fifty million pounds.

The official announcement will be made later at the Royal Welsh Show in Llanelwedd.
