The Olympic Flame will make a 'historic' journey on the Ffestiniog Railway later this morning, as it is carried through Wales on the fourth day of its tour around the country.

It will travel from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog, before being taken to Criccieth, Caernarfon and Bangor.

The torch is expected to be carried on one of the railway's iconic steam locomotives - David Lloyd George - named after the former Prime Minister who was from the area and travelled on the railway.
