Supermoon seen over Wales

A clear and chilly night in parts of Wales overnight allowed some fine pictures of a lunar phenomenon, often called a supermoon, to be taken.

People living in Anglesey had a clear view of the sight.

Closer to the Earth than at any point in its elliptical path, the moon appears 14% larger and around 30% than it does when it's furthest away.
