Wikileaks soldier's Welsh school days revealed
A touring play about Bradley Manning, the soldier accused of releasing hundreds of thousands of secret files to whisteblowing website WikiLeaks, is being put on at the school in Haverfordwest that he went to as a teenager.
'The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning', produced by National Theatre Wales, opens at Tasker Milward School on Thursday evening. It will then be shown at Cardiff High School and Connah's Quay High School, in Flintshire.
Mr Manning, 24, spent four years at school in Haverfordwest. He is accused of giving 250,000 secret US embassy cables and military logs to WikiLeaks, and now faces a court martial.
An international solidarity campaign which questions his treatment has held demonstrations in Wales.
The play asks how his life progressed from being a teenager in West Wales, to a man facing decades in prison in America.
