Scott Sinclair wants to stay with Swansea
Swansea winger Scott Sinclair will sit down to discuss a new contract at the end of the season and "definitely" wants to continue his career in south Wales.
The former Chelsea man, who turned 23 yesterday, has scored seven goals in Swansea's first season in the Premier League to help the club to 10th place in the table and almost guarantee survival.
Sinclair, the hat-trick hero when Swansea beat Reading in last season's Championship play-off final, still has a year to run on his current deal, but manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to secure his future after his performances reportedly attracted the attention of several other Premier League clubs.
Rodgers revealed last week that informal discussions had been held over the new deal, and Sinclair hopes to get everything ironed out at the end of the campaign.
