Managerless Cliftonville lost 3-1 to Glenavon at Solitude on Saturday, but still remain fourth in the Irish Premiership.

Glenavon struck first when Andrew Hall attacked James Singelton’s cross to head past Peter Burke in the Cliftonville goal.

Twenty minutes into the second half, Glenavon had their second when Burke’s failed clearance left Hall with the goal at his mercy to roll the ball into the empty net.

Cliftonville pulled one back for the Reds in the 70th minute when Martin Donnelly fire home a beautiful free kick for the home side.

But, Andy McGrory made sure of the points for Glenavon with minutes remaining to wrap up the game for Gary Hamilton’s side.

It comes after Cliftonville manager Gerard Lyttle resigned on Friday.
