Ballinamallard United picked up three valuable points with a 1-0 victory over Glentoran at the Oval on Saturday.
The only goal of the game came in the 18th minute, when Ryan Mayse turned in David Elliot's low cross into the area.
The win means that the Mallards move level on points with ninth-placed Ards and are now 12 points clear of the relegation places.
Glentoran meanwhile remain in eighth place with just two wins from their last nine games.
Linfield made short work of Dungannon Swifts to maintain their chase for the Irish Premiership’s top spot with a 4-1 win.
Crusaders remain seven points clear of second-placed Linfield after a 1-0 win over Glenavon at Seaview, amid Saturday’s league action.
