Man charged after 'Gerry Kelly assault'
A man has been charged in connection with an alleged assault on the Sinn Féin MLA Gerry Kelly.
Mr Kelly was reportedly attacked in the Gordon Street area of Belfast on Saturday evening.
Police said a 21-year-old man has been charged with common assault and criminal damage and is due before Belfast Magistrates’ Court in January.
