Medal success for rowers from across the island of Ireland will inspire the next generation of Olympians, supporters have said.

Athletes from Northern Ireland Rebecca Shorten and Philip Doyle secure silver and bronze in rowing lake.

Linda Blakely, celebrated her 50th birthday while on the waves and has so far raised more than £100,000 for charity.
