Two pensioners involved in separate collisions in Co Antrim
Two pensioners have been knocked down by cars in separate collisions in County Antrim.
One collision happened on the Antrim Road near Glengormley on Monday afternoon after 5pm. A female pedestrian was taken to hospital for her injuries but later died.
PSNI have named the victim as 77 year-old Carole Graham from the Newtownabbey area.
A second pedestrian in her 80s was involved in another collision on the Doagh road, Newtownabbey just before 6.15pm.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances and are asking any witnesses to either incident to get in touch.
The roads have since been re-opened.
