Police said the road in Downpatrick remains closed to traffic

A woman has died following a single vehicle collision in Downpatrick, Co Down.

It happened on Bishop Brae Avenue on Tuesday at around 2:30pm.

Emergency services attended the incident. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road remains closed.
