Police investigate suspicious object at Dundela Street in east Belfast

Homes have been evacuated in east Belfast after a suspicious object was found on Tuesday (25 October) morning.

Police are at the scene in Dundela Street and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

The security alert was issued shortly before 6am. There are no further details at this stage.
