Winnie the missing wallaby found safe and well in Co Tyrone

A wallaby that went missing in Co Tyrone has been found safe and well.

Winnie was on the loose after escaping from Glenpark Estate near Gortin Glen forest park on Sunday.

She was located not far from the park on Wednesday evening following searches in the area.

Thanking everyone who helped, owner Richard Beattie said: "We couldn’t be happier, and can whole heartedly assure you Winnie is none the worse after the great escape!"
