Ireland move to the top of rugby union's world rankings after series win over New Zealand
Ireland have moved to the top of rugby union’s world rankings following their 2-1 series victory on their tour to New Zealand.
It’s only the second time Ireland have topped the standings – having previously held the position in 2019.
Ireland replace Six Nations champions France at the top of the standings.
South Africa, New Zealand and England make up the rest of the top five.
