Day one at the Balmoral Show in pictures

The Balmoral show has returned to its traditional Maytime slot in 2022 after two years of pandemic disruption.

Northern Ireland's largest agricultural show is a chance for thousands of visitors to enjoy a whole range of attractions and events.

The show starts at 9:30am each day through to Saturday 14 May and will feature livestock competitions, showjumping and more.

All the people and animals will be in great form and looking their best for this beloved annual tradition.
