Man charged over cocaine seized in west Belfast

Suspected cocaine worth more than £7,000 has been seized by detectives from the PSNI’s Paramilitary Crime Task Force in the Andersonstown area of west Belfast.

A 33-year-old man has been charged in connection with a Paramilitary Crime Task Force raid that recovered £7,000 of cocaine in the Andersonstown area of west Belfast. The man was arrested and charged following a proactive search by officers on Thursday when the drugs were recovered and another search in Lurgan on Friday.

He has been charged with offences including possession of Class A drugs and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 27 August.
