Church set alight in Craigavon arson attack
Arsonists have removed slates from the roof of a church in Craigavon, dropped something through and set it alight.
Police were called to the scene at Drumgor West Road at about 4.20am on Wednesday.
Firefighters were already in attendance and dealing with the fire, which caused damage to the inside of the property.
PSNI Sergeant Carolan said: “Enquiries are continuing and, at this stage, the fire is being treated as deliberate.
“We would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact police.”
