One more coronavirus-related death reported in NI

One more person who tested positive for coronavirus in Northern Ireland has sadly died, according to the Department of Health.

The death happened outside the last 24-hour period, but was not previously reported.

It takes the official death toll to 550.

However, the figure is expected to be significantly higher when deaths in all community settings have been accounted for.

Another 1,023 people have been tested for Covid-19 and only one of them returned a positive result.

Across the UK, a further 36 fatalities were recorded on Sunday, bringing the total number of deaths to 43,550, according to the Department of Health and Social Care.

Scotland has recorded no new coronavirus-related deaths for a third day running.
