Six more coronavirus-related deaths take NI total to 387
Six more people who tested positive for coronavirus have sadly died in Northern Ireland, taking the official total to 387.
The final figure is expected to be significantly higher, when deaths in the community are taken into account.
However, the latest data from the Department of Health relates to five known deaths in the last 24 hours and one death prior to that, but not previously reported.
According to the department’s Covid-19 dashboard, there have been 4,552 hospital admissions related to the virus – including confirmed and suspected cases – and 3,829 people discharged.
A total of 1,103 more people have been tested, with 69 of them positive for Covid-19.
