Coronavirus: Six more deaths in Northern Ireland
The number of people who have died in Northern Ireland from coronavirus has risen by six to 28, the Public Health Agency (PHA) has said.
It said testing had resulted in 52 new cases in the region, bringing the total number of cases to 586.
Of that number, the PHA said 295 men had so far tested positive for the virus with 291 women contracting Covid 19.
The age group with the largest number of confirmed cases is in the 45-69 category, with 220 reported.
Across the UK, the death toll hasrisen by 381 to 1,789 and the latest fatalities include a previously healthy teenager - a 19-year-old with no underlying health conditions in England.
On Tuesday evening, the Republic's Department of Health confirmed seventeen more people had died from Covid-19 in Ireland and 325 new cases have been diagnosed.
It said there had now been 71 coronavirus deaths with 3,235 confirmed cases of the virus.
Of those who died in the Republic, 52 were male and 19 were female.
