Number of coronavirus deaths in NI rises to 22
Another person who tested positive for the coronavirus in Northern Ireland has sadly died, taking the total to 22.
According to the latest figures, 533 positive cases of Covid-19 have now been recorded – a day-on-day increase of 123.
It comes as a group of UK manufacturers has received a Government order to build 10,000 ventilators to help treat patients.
The consortium - which includes car makers, Formula One teams, and airplane manufacturers - is ready to start producing medical devices under the name Project Oyster.
Ministers have been trying to boost the number of ventilators in recent weeks as they look to increase the stock of just over 8,000 already available to the NHS.
