Second arrest after armed robbery of cash-in-transit van
Police investigating an armed robbery of a cash-in-transit vehicle in the Academy Street area of Belfast have arrested a second man.
A cash box containing a sum of money was stolen when a man armed with a handgun threatened a cash-in-transit employee at about 7.50am on Tuesday 10 March.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on Friday 20 March on suspicion of a number of offences, including robbery.
He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Earlier this month, another 32-year-old man was detained following searches of three properties in the Divis area of west Belfast.
He was then later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Detective Constable Montgomery said: “Our enquiries continue and we would appeal to anyone within information to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 185 of 10/03/20.”
