Three children found dead in house in Co Dublin

Three children have been found dead in a house in Co Dublin, while a woman in her 40s has been taken to hospital.

The two boys and one girl were found in the property in the village of Newcastle, south west of Dublin city, at about 7pm on Friday.

Gardaí have described the deaths as "unexplained" and launched an investigation.

It is understood they are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.

Officers have, however, appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
