Brothers in court accused of ATM thefts
Two brothers from County Tyrone have been charged with the theft of ATMs from filling stations in Omagh and Irvinestown.
30 year-old Matthew McLean from Glenpark Road near Gortin and 25 year old Robert McLean of Carnalea Manor in Seskinore appeared at Omagh Magistrates Court charged with stealing an ATM containing more than £25,000 from a shop in Irvinestown last March..
They are also accused of stealing a cash machine containing £21,000 from a filling station near Omagh in February.
Robert McLean is further charged with the theft of a trailer worth £2,000 on 14 February.
During the brief hearing a PSNI detective said she believed both men can be connected to the charges.
Both men have been released on bail.
Robert McLean had bail restrictions relaxed so he can go on honeymoon early next month.
The brothers are due to appear before the court again next month.
