Ballymena and Cliftonville progress in Europa League
Ballymena United and Cliftonville have secured their places in the next stage of the Europa League.
It was a historic night for Ballymena as they held Runavik to a 0-0 draw in the Faroe Islands to complete a 2-0 win on aggregate.
They’ll face Malmo of Sweden in the first qualifying round next.
Meanwhile Cliftonville were 4-0 winners over Barry Town at Solitude on Friday night, after a goalless first leg in Wales.
Conor McMenamin and Joe Gormley scored in the first half, then Conor McDermott and Rory Donnelly were on target after the interval to complete a convincing win.
Next up for the Reds, they take on Haugesund of Norway.
