Armagh teen wows Jackie Chan with martial arts skills
A teenage girl from Co Armagh has taken the world's biggest talent show by storm with a spectacular display of martial arts - even impressing a Hollywood legend along the way.
Jessie Jane McParland was first seen on UTV in 2015, but now she's wowed hundreds of millions of people with her skills, showcasing them on the World's Got Talent TV show.
The 13-year-old martial arts sensation has made it big in China by reaching the show’s semi-final.
“They took all the finalists from Britain’s Got Talent, America’s Got Talent, all the ‘Got Talent’ shows, and they all competed against each other,” Jessie Jane said.
“It was really, really tough, I got a message from Jackie Chan which just made my day - I was just star struck.
“He’s my idol, I think he’s just amazing.”
Jessie Jane has never lost her world championship crown in the prestigious WAKO kick-boxing competition, now she is going for gold.
She said: “Hopefully one day I’ll be in the Olympics and I really want to be in a movie with Jackie Chan, that’s my dream.”
