Bessbrook death no longer being treated as murder

The death of a man aged in his 30s in Bessbrook is no longer being treated as murder, police have said.

It follows a post-mortem examination.

The man's body was found at a property in the Acorn Hill area of the Co Armagh village on Wednesday morning.

Three men aged 41, 42 and 52, and three women, one aged 39 and two aged 22, were arrested by police investigating the death.

They have all been released unconditionally.

Police said the 39-year-old woman was re-arrested on suspicion assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
