Family 'desperate' to find missing Ballysillan man

The family of a father-of-three who has been missing for a week have said they are desperate to find him.

Robert Holmes from Ballysillan was last seen in Newtownabbey on 17 October.

Extensive searches have been carried out for the 42-year-old, but so far nothing.

His sister Joanne Clarke told UTV the family are “devastated”.

She said: “Words can’t even explain how much we’re all hurting.

“We’re really worried for his safety, concerned for his whereabouts, just frightened in case he’s frightened to come home.

“I just want Robert to be aware, come home, you’re not in trouble.”

Anyone who has seen Robert is asked to contact police on 101.
