Road closed after serious two-vehicle Ards crash

The air ambulance has been sent to the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash in Newtownards on Friday afternoon.

The Kemp Stones Road has been closed following the incident, which happened at the junction of the Greengraves Road.

No further details about the nature of the crash are available at this stage.

However, two other emergency ambulance crews and a rapid response paramedic are also attending the scene.

Diversions are in place between Dundonald and Newtownards and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
