American killed in crash on honeymoon in NI
A man from America who died in a road crash in Co Antrim was here on his honeymoon.
Michael Munro, from Orange in Connecticut, was killed in the crash, which happened on the Gracehill Road on Tuesday night.
The road is close to the famous Dark Hedges tourist attraction.
A woman aged in her 30s, believed to be his new wife, was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.
Local DUP MLA Mervyn Storey said his thoughts are with the man's family.
"He's someone who has come to Northern Ireland to enjoy himself and all we have to offer in Northern Ireland," he said.
"Sadly today that family has been plunged into great sorrow."
The Gracehill Road is expected to remain closed for a time on Wednesday while police carry out investigations into the collision.
