Man killed by fallen tree in Co Armagh
A man in his 20s has died after he was struck by fallen tree in Co Armagh.
It happened at Slieve Gullion Park on Wednesday afternoon.
Another man aged in his 40s was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast for treatment on injuries.
NI Water said the incident involved employees of one of its contractors.
In a statement, a spokesperson added: “Our thoughts are with the families of those involved at this time.”
Ambulance crews were called to the scene at around 12.45pm.
The Health and Safety Executive has been informed of the incident.
NI Water added that it is working closely with emergency services, HSE and police and "will do everything possible to assist".
Earlier, a woman in her 50s was killed when her caravan was blown off a cliff at Claddagh, Co Galway.
It comes as strong winds from Storm Ali battered the UK and Ireland, with a yellow warning remaining in place into Wednesday evening.
