Search for 'disappeared' monk Lynskey continues in Co Meath

An area of land in Co Meath is to be cleared on Monday 12 March, ahead of a search for the remains of Joe Lynskey.

The former monk was taken in west Belfast in August 1972.

In 2010 - almost 40 years later - the IRA admitted to kidnapping, killing and secretly burying him.

Of the 16 so-called Disappeared, the remains of 13 have been recovered.

The remaining three are Columba McVeigh, Robert Nairac and Joe Lynskey.
