Big freeze continues to cause disruption
The big freeze continues to grip much of Northern Ireland, with disruption to schools and travel plans amid weather alerts that continue into the weekend.
A yellow alert from the Met Office continues until mid-morning on Saturday, as the so-called Beast from the East causes chaos across parts of the UK and Ireland.
Southern counties of Northern Ireland have been worst affected, while other more northerly parts have escaped getting any snow at all.
Almost 400 schools were closed on Friday and a number of flights have been cancelled.
In Newry, the Mourne Mountain Rescue team has been helping staff reach Daisy Hill Hospital.
And on the North Coast, Downhill waterfall seems suspended in mid-air, having frozen solid.
