US trade body final ruling due in Bombardier dispute
A final ruling is due in the ongoing trade dispute between aerospace giants Bombardier and Boeing.
The row has the potential to impact on thousands of jobs in Northern Ireland.
In December, the US commerce department upheld plans to impose duties of nearly 300% on imports of Bombardier C Series.
Rival company Boeing had argued that UK and Canadian government subsidies had given Bombardier an unfair advantage in a highly competitive market.
The plane's wings are made in Northern Ireland and the union Unite has warned thousands of local jobs could be threatened should sales be badly affected.
Unions have called on the US International Trade Commission (ITC) to set aside that tariff decision when it meets on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister Theresa May has held talks with President Donald Trump at the World Economic Forum in the Swiss ski resort of Davos.
The two leaders began by discussing Bombardier, with Mrs May reiterating the importance of the company's jobs in Northern Ireland.
