Coleraine and Crusaders draw at the Showgrounds
Coleraine and Crusaders battled out a titanic 3-3 draw in the afternoon's big Danske Bank Irish Premiership clash.
The Crues took the lead on 37 minutes to break the deadlock.
Gavin Whyte turned Aaron Trainer in the penalty area, before firing a low shot off into the corner beyond goalkeeper Chris Johns.
That was Whyte's 16th of the season.
On 38 minutes, the Bannsiders got caught out taking a free-kick which broke down, Paul Heatley sprinted clear before his shot hit the post, with Whyte getting the tap-in to make it two.
Early in the second half, a loose ball fell to Jamie McGonigle who scored from close range to cut the gap to 2-1.
But the Crues restored their two-goal lead, Paul Heatley firing home.
Stephen Baxter's side then went down to ten men, Colin Coates sent-off for a second bookable offence.
McGonigle pulled the Bannsiders back into it with a wonder strike to make it 2-3.
And then Oran Kearney's side roared back to level it at 3-3.
Darren McCauley flicked the ball home from a free kick.
