Crues two points off top spot after win over Linfield
Gavin Whyte's late winner was enough to give Crusaders a 2-1 win over Linfield at Windsor Park.
Josh Robinson opened the scoring inside a minute to give the Blues the lead.
Robinson's transfer was the subject of a tug-of-war battle between the two sides during the summer, with the Crues claiming they had signed him before it was confirmed he had moved to Windsor Park.
The 24-year-old finding the net with a well-placed downward header inside 70 seconds to give David Healy's side the lead.
But Stephen Baxter's side responded with two goals in the second half.
Former Linfield full-back Billy Joe Burns scored with a stunning strike after the break, before the league's top scorer Whyte had the last laugh as his effort trickled past Roy Carroll.
The result leaves Crusaders two points off top with a game in hand.
