NI Weather: Rain and snow overnight

Dry this evening with a widespread frost and a few freezing fog patches. However increasing cloud will bring outbreaks of rain and snow to all parts in the early hours, with icy stretches developing on untreated surfaces. Minimum temperature -4 °C.

Friday: Rather cloudy with some patchy rain, drizzle and hill snow, this tending to die out later in the day. Best of brightness in the far east. Still rather cold. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday: Chance of some persistent rain or hill snow at first on Saturday, otherwise staying unsettled with showers. Gradually becoming a little milder.
