Carrick Rangers took a big win over visiting Dungannon Swifts during Saturday’s Irish premiership action.

After a rather sluggish first half, it was the visitors who took the lead through Ally Taggart’s opener.

In the second half, Carrick stunned their opposition though with two goals in two minutes.

First, Lee Chapman’s lob sailed into the net to bring Rangers back on level terms.

Then Michael Smith met the ball forcefully to head home into the Swifts’ net and secure the victory.

Both goals were set up by the inventiveness of Mikel Suarez.
