Pair released after arrests over McIlhagga murder
Two men arrested over the murder of Brian McIlhagga in Ballymoney more than two years ago have been released.
The 42-year-old victim, a father-of-five, was beaten and shot by a masked gang who dragged him from a house in the Riverview Park area of the Co Antrim town in January 2015.
A 33-year-old woman who lived in the house was also assaulted by the gang and four children in the property were left traumatised.
The arrests were made in north Antrim on Tuesday morning.
However, the men – aged 45 and 41 – have since been released unconditionally.
