Brendan Rodgers' Celtic complete unbeaten season
Brendan Rodgers' Celtic have become the first side in over a century to go unbeaten in the top flight of Scottish football.
Goals from Leigh Griffiths and Stuart Armstrong saw off Hearts and made sure the Glasgow side finished their record season on a high.
No team had gone an entire season without defeat since Rangers in 1899.
At that time, a season comprised only 18 games, compared to the current 38.
In only his first season as boss at Parkhead, the Carnlough man could yet win a domestic treble if the Hoops can beat Aberdeen next Saturday.
Back in November, Celtic beat the Dons 3-0 to lift the League Cup and will hope for a similar outcome in the Scottish Cup final at Hampden.
Rodgers joined the club in May 2016, on a one year, rolling contract but signed a four-year extension in April that will keep him at the club until 2021.
