Carrick Rangers earn vital win over Ards
Carrick Rangers picked up their first win since 26 November with a 4-0 victory over Ards at Clandeboye Park on Saturday.
Eamon McAllister opened the scoring with a header in the 17th minute, before Sean Noble added a second eight minutes before the break.
Carrick debutant Declan O'Brien marked his first appearance for the club with a goal in the 62nd minute, and a Martin Murray penalty ten minutes later sealed a comprehensive win.
The result means that Carrick bring their 10-game winless streak to an end, while Ards have lost each of their last five games.
