Derry and Tyrone set for McKenna Cup final battle
In a repeat of last year’s decider, Derry are set to seek McKenna Cup revenge over a Tyrone team who could be on the brink of creating even more history.
The Dr McKenna Cup is 90 years old and, while Derry want it, Tyrone have it.
The Red Hands are hoping they can keep a firm grip on the coveted prize as they aim for an historic sixth win in a row.
But last year’s final saw the Oak Leaf County lose out to Tyrone in extra time and Derry are out to turn the tables.
As UTV’s Simon McIntyre reports, whatever the outcome, the ribbon colours will remain the same.
